I know it sounds gross, but topical application of animal dewormer Ivermectin is effective for clearing pimples and pustules of type 2 rosacea. It works because often this form of rosacea is a reaction to the normal demodex mites in our skin. It’s FDA approved for rosacea and available by prescription, but it’s also sold at farm supply stores.
