Fenbendazole, Ivermectin & Cancer: One Patient’s Story

In this episode of Talking Cancer with Dr. Roman, I speak with a patient living with colon cancer who shares his personal cancer journey, including the conventional cancer treatments he has received as well as his decision to independently take fenbendazole and ivermectin.

He discusses why he chose to use these medications, how he has incorporated them into his journey, and why he believes they have contributed to how he feels today.

This interview represents one patient’s personal experience. It does NOT demonstrate that fenbendazole or ivermectin treats, cures, slows, or prevents cancer. Watch at your own risk.

Fenbendazole is primarily a veterinary antiparasitic medication and is NOT an approved cancer treatment in humans. Ivermectin is used in humans for certain parasitic infections but is NOT an approved treatment for cancer. Research investigating repurposed medications in cancer is an evolving area, and laboratory findings or individual patient experiences should not be interpreted as proof that a treatment is safe or effective for people with cancer.

Correction from the Guest — 08:50:
At approximately 08:50 in the video, our guest, Mike, discusses the amount of fenbendazole he reports taking. During the recording, Mike stated 5 mg. After the interview, he contacted us to clarify that he misspoke and that the correct amount he intended to report was 500 mg. This correction is provided only to accurately reflect Mike’s personal account. Talking Cancer with Dr. Roman does not recommend, prescribe, or endorse this amount—or the use of fenbendazole or ivermectin for the treatment of cancer. Viewers should not interpret Mike’s reported amount as medical advice or a treatment recommendation.
